In fact, it somewhat endeared him to the kid he'd been basically ignoring. Which probably sounds highly selfish of Viktor that he's only showing interest in JJ when he's being provided something, but it's more along the lines of the gesture meaning something to him. ]

I'm sure we would have known eventually, though it is in a different city, so perhaps not. [ But, surely, word of mouth would be a thing and he would have heard something from someone somewhere... right? ] Though, I had asked and one of the people staying here had said they didn't know of any ice rink, so I thought it was just a pipe dream.
