He still doesn't want him to get away with that cheeky remark but the kiss on his ear is a total cheap shot and while he wasn't burning up before from embarrassment, he certainly is now. Instinctively, one of Yuuri's hands will immediately go to cover the ear which Viktor had kissed.
Kissing was fine in public (or on the international stage) but small displays of affection like this were too much? It makes no sense, obviously, but there's not more he can do. The flowers on the table are still in bloom but instead of a gentle crispness from Yuuri, there's a more heated and oppressive air around him.
