The guy with her is kind of a weird occurrence, as Yin mostly... doesn't get noticed. He wonders if something happened, but... At least he recognizes who this is, though he continues to play a little oblivious when he approaches. ]
Sorry to leave you waiting for so long, Yin. It looks like you... met someone. Yuuri... isn't it?
[Her head is already turning to the side before responding to Yuuri. She can tell it was Hei approaching from behind, his particular gait, the presence that he carries- it's all telling to her. There is no mistaking it for anyone else.]

[Which sounds like 'hey,' an informal greeting. Though Yin uses his name out of habit, not because she forgot his other name. This is not unusual, she's done it before, just normally out of earshot. What is unusual is what she mentions without being prompted (and before Yuuri has a chance to confirm his name).]
[ When someone approaches them, he's surprised to see who does. He takes a moment to look between the two and how they interacted. ]

[ Yuuri repeats as he looks over at Hei(?) with a bit of a questioning look. He had introduced himself as Li, hadn't he? Maybe it was his last name? The look doesn't last long, at least, and Yuuri's most distressed by the comment that Yin makes about his jacket. ]
She did but you don't have to worry about it. It's fine—I'll find a new one here.
[ Making a mental note to remind Yin what not to do, Hei is quick to respond with his own-- ]

[ He waves his free hand slightly, before focusing on what Yin said, and what Yuuri said, and... well, that's almost as unusual as it gets. Definitely something that draws attention... ][ His shoulders slump slightly, his head bowing a little to Yuuri. ]
I don't know what happened exactly but we will get you a replacement. I insist.
[ Yin's remark causes Yuuri to laugh nervously and wave his hands in front of him. It was just his jacket (possible favorite) that had a hole burned into it. Sure it might be a pain to find a way to patch it up since he came here with nothing else but minor inconvenience. ]
[Nodding. Yin will just sit here quietly, unless directly addressed, while these two debate over the jacket incident. She has offered all she can on this matter and has no further input.]
[ If Yuuri was a person who was more demanding or even more reliant on others, he would have come up with plenty of other things that he could have asked Hei/Li for. He was new here after all and there weren't a lot of things that he knew that he could take advantage of.
But if he were to do that sort of thing, then he wouldn't be Yuuri. ]
Maybe suggest some places where I can find a replacement for it for fairly cheap? [ He'll laugh sheepishly. He never had to be this money conscious before in his life. ] Or a way to find materials to patch it up.
Uh, yeah, I can help with that. There are a bunch of shops here where you can get something, and repair shouldn't be too difficult.
[ But he still wants to make it up to him - because that's exactly what Li would want. Not that he needs to apologize for Yin (Hei certainly doesn't feel obligated to) but because Li would consider that the right thing to do. ]

[ For Li (and Hei) food is always a decent answer. ]
[Without a word, she carefully moves her hand and places it on top of one of Yuuri's, her gaze trailing towards him. He sounds nervous, and she can practically feel it. Perhaps this will calm him. Furthermore, he should take Hei up on his offer- something she attempts to express with words.]
[ And that would have been the end of it and Yuuri would have let it go from there but then Yin puts her hand on Yuuri's getting his full attention. He looks at her owlishly but does feel himself calm a bit—had he been worked up? It wouldn't have been the first time. ]
Fine. I'll let you treat me to dinner.
[ Because free food is the best food and something that they can all enjoy and part-take in. He can feel less guilty about it. ]
[ He's appreciative of, and confused slightly by, Yin's encouragement, but in this circumstance he just shows that appreciation, casting Yin a slight glance and nodding. ]
Whatever you want, I'm sure we'll be able to find it here. Just say the word, okay? And if tonight doesn't work, then we'll plan it for later.
[With that, Yin removes her hand from Yuuri's, placing it back onto her lap. She doesn't question the gesture, it was more a reflex than anything- a combination of situations she has experienced, or observed. A strange compulsion that arose from some place deep within.]
I'm new here so I wouldn't really know what to suggest to eat. I'm not really that picky as long as it tastes good.
[ He'll look between Yin and Hei(?) with a small smile. He figures he could be more choosy but that's not the kind of person he is. Or, well, when it came to things like this. ]
Whatever you and Yin enjoy eating will be fine with me.
[ That seems fair and definitely more of Yuuri's style to get used to. Especially since he didn't exactly have to follow up if the choice came to it. ]
